Men’s underwear made with Banana fibres.

From the website of aussieBum , showing men undies made with banana fibres .

The Brunei Times ( March 6 2010 ) reported that AussieBum ( ) an Australian company has “  recently unveiled a range of men’s underwear made with bananas.

The new eco-friendly banana range of undies incorporates 27 per cent banana fibre, 64 per cent cotton and nine per cent lycra, said Lloyd Jones, a company official. The banana fibre used in the underwear is made from a bark weave from the banana plant and makes the underwear not only lightweight, but also very absorbent, he said.

“Wearers did not have to worry about real monkeys, as the underwear does not smell like a banana.”

Maybe next time  we would have men’s underwear made with Oil Palm fibres ?
